I would love She&Him to cover this song. Zooey Deschanel’s voice and M.Ward’s guitar is so perfect for this song.

Things I love about her: Her cute little earrings. The way she shivers when I nuzzle against her neck. Her lemon tart pies. She's so cuddly and cute She always has loose change, even when she's sleeping. The way she varnishes things. She knows when I'm feeling melancholic. She always lets me rub her face when she's sleeping. My treasure, if you are somehow reading this, you're welcome. ♥

I just heard this song, and of this group for the first time today… when I had only heard the song I really thought they were a group from the 60s or 70s. This song is so stuck in my brain!

Recorded at Chess studios in 1968! Definitely the best version of this song. There were a few at the time. Unfortunately, they were an indie band at the time and only known locally. Glad they are known now after all this time!

I am a Turk (maybe it seemed different to me, decent people, I don't know.) And it was a very, very psychopathic clip for such a calm and beautiful song, I didn't like it.
