Since I got mine, it continues to impress me. Perfect size and carry option. Superb ergoes. Points well. Amazing SAO cocked hammer trigger. Its a shooter. Love mine.

Are you able to change the stock with a magpul stock?
@DustinBarlow8P2 күн бұрын
Yeah, I have been squabbling with the ATF over my rifles. In their defense, I do enjoy modding them with full-auto triggers. In my defense, I change them back after I shoot.

the sights on this thing is SO TRASH. once i changed out the rear sight the accuracy jumped from 60% to 99%... ours had to be gon though on every bolt as they were loose... IMo awesome gun, trash assembly and sights.

@ShellyBraden-p7p Ok super newbie. My husband has subtly hinted about this Strikeman Dry Fire as a "real nice gift". 😂He has several guns, one of which is a glock, which I have fired a couple times and experienced some recoil?? (Again I am very new to firearms). My comment...in your review video, there seemed to be zero kick back when you fired your glock w/ the laser system. Perhaps that is experience. But my question... how accurate is this? If a user can hit the bullseyes consistently with this laser system, in a real live scenario with a the power of the gun would the accuracy still be the same? Hopefully that makes sense. Maybe I am not quite understanding. I appreciate any helpful feedback.

I just got mine and took it to the range. I use the Fiocchi ammo and it was giving me problems. It stopped feeding. The reason I know it's the ammo is because I traded my pistol as well and it started giving me problems with that which is also a Smith and Wesson. So I know it wasn't either of the guns

No scope rings? Did you have to buy an aftermarket rail to mount it to? Cabelas has these on sale for $2,200.

Can you select the order of which barrel you fire? No. So to discuss that as a benefit is really ridiculous, isn't it? Yes. Id hate to carry that thing all day in the field fir upland birds. Ill stick with my AyA sis thank you.

... I have 2 late issue (2018/2019) Remlins and they are fine looking fine functioning rifles ... smooth cycling & accurate ... no complaints whatsoever ... replaced the floppy 5+ pound pull factory triggers with WWG triggers and Wolff hammer springs for a crisp 3 pound trigger pull on both guns ... apparently the new Ruger made Marlins still have heavy, floppy factory triggers

Please learn how the transfer bar works on a Ruger. You keep saying it backwards. It is not a blocking bar. Look at the hammer. It is made so the transfer bar has to be up to TRANSFER the hammer action to the firing pin. Love your videos.

The only thing I hate, yes, hate about this gun is the trigger. It's too short! There is a large gap between it and the trigger guard. My finger rides on the bottom of the sharp trigger, and it makes my finger really sore. Hickok45 had the same issue. It's a shame because it's a really nice gun otherwise.

I have made two trips to the Montgomery Indoor Firing Range with my Ruger Mark IV Lite. I fired 180 rounds with only two hiccups. I was happy because I was told this pistol would require a break-in period. I shot Federal Punch, Stingers and CCI Mini Mags. Oddly enough the two hiccups were with the Federal Punch. But, I shot the Punch ammo first. Today I shot 120 rounds with the Ruger and I did not have a single hiccup. I also fired 36 rounds with my Kimber KDS9c and 88 rounds with my Sig P229. The 9mm pistols were flawless. My first trip with the Ruger was designed to be a reliability test. Today I tested for accuracy and the pistol passed with flying colors.

Can anyone tell me why the Marlin 336 has a mag capacity of 6+1 whereas the Henry classic has a 5+1? Is it due to Henry having a side gate and tube fed magazine?

Just got it. It shoots wonderfully for me out of the box. Getting that last round in the mag is challenging. Had a few failures to go fully into battery with the new mags but they broke in be for the end of the first range sessions. It was 100% reliable.

I appreciate the close-ups and slow sweeps of the rifle in this video. I find lots of reviewers skip over close-ups & do glamor shots rather than what the viewer wants, which is a "hey gimme that & let me see for myself" deal. As a newly licensed gun owner in eastern Canada, I'm trying to learn who the KZbin pros are, what channels are promoting stuff for free gear/ammo & which aren't. I mostly want to know which popular brands are reliable, which 'boutique' hunting rifles are actually overpriced & unnecessary, what materials are best for which rifle type, pedigree, collectability, care/maintenance, everything down to accessories & which caliber is best for what. Think of me as a newly landed immigrant shopping for a car. If I start gravitating toward a Dodge Dart over a Toyota Corolla, I expect someone to nudge me & tell me what an idiot I am. Let me have both barrels, as they say. Marlin 1894? 336? 1895 Dark Series? Winchester 1873? 1886? Henry All-Weather? Model X? Big Boy Model X? I was just about to buy the Browning BLR (Lightweight '81 Stainless, takedown), because it supported hunting rounds from 243 to 300wm - I wanted 30-06. I wanted a side-loader option, though, and I know enough that you can't stack those rounds so I decided to get a good lever action for the range, and save up for a scope & proper hunting rifle while I get 'good'. Makes more financial sense to get a 30-30 than a 45-70, but I like "too much" within the 100yd range & frankly, lever actions are simply more fun.

The Canik is becoming like the Glocks in my collection: I can’t just get one! I think I have 8 Glocks(Glock 34,35,17G3,17G4,19G3,19G4,43,42). Now I have 3 Caniks(Mete SFX, Taran Tactical, Mete MC9). So far both my Glocks & Canik had zero malfunctions. I don’t understand when people keep assuming the MC9 or Caniks in general have tons of issues. I have 3 of them with thousands of rounds on each of them with zero issues. Either I keep getting lucky 🍀 or the issues reported are grossly exaggerated/inflated. Caniks are wonderful firearms. They remind me of my Walthers. 😊
