Don’t know if you’re still looking at this channel, but he basically wrote “The Great Sage Equal to Heaven Was Here.” In the story, that’s what the monkey king started calling himself. The story is, Sun Wukong the monkey king was causing such a ruckus in the Celestial Palace that the Buddha himself had to step in. The Buddha told Sun Wukong, “If you can jump out of my palm, then I will make you the new Emperor of Heaven.” Sun Wukong jumped on his cloud and shot across the sky, as far as he could until he found a giant pillar sticking out of the clouds, where he wrote that grafiti and peed on the pillar for maximum disrespect (this is actually part of the story 😂). What Sun Wukong did not realize was that the pillar was the Buddha’s finger. He never escaped the Buddha’s palm. The Buddha punished the monkey king by burying him under a mountain until the titular journey in “Journey to the West.”

I feel they should have a better selection of hits to sing but they absolutely do have the talent because their some of their best work came in their later years like S/T, 13 and Think Tank to name a few. Oasis' first two albums and the masterplan were great, I'll give you that, but be here now was a fucking trainwreck (don't even get me started on all around the world) and everything that came after that was forgettable except for don't believe the truth. If you look past the hits, Blur were just more creative and consistent with their albums imo.
