So you don’t want to do the movie’s plot as the ride, ok, fair enough. That’s why the best Disney villain can’t be in it, ok. But every song in the damn movie was in the ride BUT the best one. Why?

I didn’t know a presentation could make me physically feel beige, but wow, you made it work. Also the tower is such an eyesore.

When I was a kid I went to Disneyland and all I wanted was to ride Splash, my mom and I were in line for HOURS. You couldn't pay me to ride this. I it's so sad and pathetic that they took my beloved Disney who's movies I watched over and over and still do (ORIGINALS ONLY) and turned it into something that I won't let my nephew watch. Walt would be so deeply ashamed and apologetic to the fans who meant everything to him. Thanks to Bob Over though he'll be keeping company with George Lucas and Stan Lee as the geniuses who's work will forever be DESTROYED BY DISNEY. My condolences.

Wow. I am so disappointed 😔 slash mountain was my favorite ride and I held out hope for this thinking it would be a good fit. It just absolutely sucks. The new songs, new animations…Tiana doesn’t even look like herself. It’s like they tried to make her look like mirabel and Dora the explorer. I hate this 😭😭😭

What in the world is this. Where is the story? Dr. Facilier? The animatronics look amazing but really seems like a lot of dead space and no story. Also Tiana's outfit throughout? Doesn't exactly scream princess except at the even end and even then it's not perfect. Trying not to dislike it but it seems hard. I'll still ride it, hopefully it presents better in person than on the video.

I can't believe how boring this looks. Salt mine? Hot sauce? Dancing okra? Vegetables? Looking for a band? Shrinking? Spice makes us complete? Mediocre music? Who wrote this? Bring back Brier Rabbit.

At night one misses so many elements, plants, etc. Too many dark areas. The only bear in Louisiana is the BLACK bear.

This makes Tiki Room Under New Management look like a masterpiece in comparison.

Disney going to invest 17B in 5th park but don't even take care of the ones they already have in Florida. Disney has 4 parks in Florida and about 30 rides.

Imagine being an “ImAgIneer” sending people in to the Salt Mine…standing in front of this and telling your friends and family…”I did that”. ….would be my biggest damn secret. Should have been a stand alone ride elsewhere that followed the movie. Love that Disney’s so racist that they stripped the first black princess… of her princess garb. #thisAintIt

Well this seems disappointing. It doesn't contain any of the magic of the movie (minus the great music). Why does Louis look fuzzy? I saw that in the pictures, but I thought it might look better when complete and installed on the ride... Nope. Louis shouldn't be fuzzy or velvety. And why bad 3D computer animation on the screens?? The movie was beautiful 2D hand drawn animation. We waited all this time & hyped Tiana for this?! Oof.

It's toothless. It's well done but looks instantly forgettable. In trying to avoid offending anybody they've managed to appeal to nobody, too. I loved the movie and was excited to see some Voodoo elements on the ride (singing "Friends on the Other Side" while you climb the lift hill would have been incredible, with voodoo ghosts all around and Dr. Facilier chanting "Are you reaaaaady!?!?" building tension...would have been epic and gives me chills thinking about it) but instead we get to "make a big splash" at the party? Yawn. Disney had a great opportunity to make a big upgrade but instead it looks like it's going to be a glossy but ultimately hollow ride experience. Tiana deserved better.

Am I the only one in the comments who really liked it? Totally kidding. That was awful. I was excited to see what they were going to do with this concept and that was just plain bad. Animatronics looked great, and some of the scenery looked pretty, but that's literally all it has going for it. Hopefully Disney will wisen up and come back with a remodel when this tanks; something that is actually interesting and makesc sense.

This is so bland and absent of any creativity, theming and passion. Disney resorts should be an example of what storytelling can be. This templatized hotel room approach they've taken over the past 5-10 years is lazy and unbecoming of a brand who built their reputation on immersive, thematic experiences and attention to detail at parks and resorts.

Looks like they blew the entire animation budget on just a handful of figures and then attempted to backfill with cheap animation (probably DC motors with crank arms), tons of fake plants, and then turned down the show lighting in the hopes that no one would realize how empty the ride path is... really really sad. The bayou scenes are dark, gloomy, and depressing.

Who did the new rides in Tokyo bring them in to fix this disaster.

It's a shame what happened with John Lasseter. The parks needed a creative storyteller theme park fan at the head of things and this is a perfect example of why.
