@ Delco has a VERY specific accent. Rounded vowels and shortened long-e and long-a sounds, most notably in the pronunciation of the word 'water' as 'wooder' it’s highly specific to the Philadelphia area. One would think if someone took the time to make a movie about a very niche area that they would make sure their actors could portray the dialectic properly. In the opening clip the kid says “I’m going to die in Delco”. Anyone from that area knows he wouldn’t enunciate each word properly. It would’ve been more like “I’m gowynn’-tuhdye in Delco” Going to die almost jumbles into one word.

as someone born and raised in the town that Tom Jones Diner is in, the only realistic part of this trailer is the very end bit about Chester. My boomer parents left because of what Chester has "done" to Brookhaven.

I'm a *little* bit older in that I remember peeking through the plastic in Sears at the about to open GRM and spent a lot of the 80s there buying records, playing games at Aladdin's Castle and hanging out with my Sun Valley friends who lived in the 19015. I had an emotional reaction when I saw the Tom Jones sign. So excited for your movie!

dude we're so similar. its so funny u remember your date. my senior project was my rock band's show in Upper Darby auditorium on a friday night and money went to charity. I had to do it at the end of my junior year but this year, June 6th I celebrated 20 years of *my* moment very similar to yours in this video. so freakin cool. cant wait to watch u keep rising
