@kristak1102 Not having met your friend, I can't tell you her size 😆 I guess if you're torn you can size up and go for oversized and slouchy - I think this piece is better too big than too small.

I think you're supposed to use sponge and remove excess with brush. Also it does take a few goes to get the technique right. Just the same as learning to use normal varnish.

I was a home-office employee for 3.5 years, I started right after they moved up to Columbus. I attended the 2012 conference in Atlanta and from our perspective, we work huge hours to make those things happen. It's certainly a fun experience but it's really a big extension of Cindy's massive ego. She reminds me of Xerxes from Greek mythology, this larger than life god-like figure who needs admiration from all in her presence.

I was at the 2013 Atlanta conference (aka the "share the mashed potatoes" year)
@steveparish4209Ай бұрын
@@LolaGeek that problem was not uncommon at their conferences. The directors and above always got preferential times in the conference store where a lot of exclusive products were offered. We were told to monitor their 'shopping,' but told not to refuse them anything. And a day later when the lower level ladies came through looking for the exclusive cool stuff, they were disappointed and all we could do was shrug and apologize.

Thanks for the warning. My FB feed is flooded with Sistaco ads. It looks so easy to use and the colors are beautiful. I was almost duped into buying a system. I had selected all my colors except the last color. I came on KZbin to search for videos of the different colors. Then I started reading negative comments and many said Sistaco censors bad reviews and gets FB to shut down any groups who shed any negative light on their products or question adverse effects. I was so excited to buy my set but after reading many negative comments on several platforms, there is no way I will buy this product. I know several people at work who were contemplating buying this. I will let them know that they need to do their research. The information you find if you dig deep enough is alarming. I mean, nails separating from the nail bed after prolonged use is where I draw the line. I'm not taking a chance.

You literally applied it wrong! You don’t paint all nails with base then apply powder. You do both steps one nail at a time. Also their light only cures for 30 seconds. Using a product wrong then being a freak about “safety” because you have to remove it is wild AF! The ignorance is quite embarrassing!
@LolaGeek3 ай бұрын
I literally followed their instructions and tutorials, and wasn't even concerned about safety until I saw the note that they included in the package 😂
@panyan19603 ай бұрын
The biggest problem is that any system that uses gel polish (needs UV light curing) can potentially cause an allergic reaction. This is why it's so important to keep it off your skin. The mineral powders themselves are very unlikely to cause a reaction. Like any product, it takes practice to be able to get a good application. The colours all have some kind of sheen to them, but if you prefer the creme type then a matt topcoat should reduce the sheen. I think the Sistaco system is one of the easiest to use and remove, I also find it very durable. I don't believe people should be applying any gel polish on a weekly basis; that is damaging to the nails.

They have reformulated their stak. Have you tried it out? I absolutely love it! I splurged for the dual-ended eye brush, which I use for many things. They also have an angled brush that comes with the stak. If you get a chance to re-review it, I think it's worth it because they not only have new colors, but new formulas as well. I only use this makeup and my other makeup has been put away. I know that I need to finish it, but right now, the stak has everything that I need.

With all the videos I have seen on you tube and videos from the company. The one thing that was stressed highly is the base coat and top coat should be very thin, where as you put quite a bit of base coat. You didn't put the top coat after the base, which you did the powder, and put another base coat and powder. There are very specific procedures as how to add more powder and if you look at the videos you would of have much success with it. I followed all the procedures and didn't have any problems with it. Applied a very thin coat of base, top coat then cure. Apply your power, using very little with the round sponge, then top coat again. Also people nail beds are not the same some are flat or round, rigged which needs smoothing. Damage to any nails is because they are not applied correctly. No problem with powder on the skin, it just washed off, they are referring to the base and top coats, which any brand isn't good to get on skin. I like this product and sorry you have different opiniion on this.

I’ve been having less than stellar success with Sistaco. Would love to be able to know what I’m doing wrong. I want to love the product, but I cannot get solid answers to my problems. Edges don’t get covered, meaning it looks instantly worn. And it chips really, really bad. Lasts a day at best. Colors are beautiful, though. Again, I want to love it, but cannot….yet.
@peglegtucson4 ай бұрын
I’ve been using it for a year now. Warm the base and the top coat. I put hot water in a bowl and place the base and top coat. The reason it says to just put the base on the nail is because the powder will adhere everywhere. When I started using the product I would wipe of the excess with a wipe. I gently stir the powder with a toothpick before applying. There is a learning curve to get it perfect. They are coming out with an improved remover. I’m happy about it because that was the hardest part for me.
@jessyloring76004 ай бұрын
I like the shstem, i always use the sponge, much less of a mess. It picks up too much powder and every powder applies differently.
