Hello, I just installed one of these kits but I get a ringing noise when I apply the back brake, do you get this or know how to stop it! I have made sure it is perfectly aligned and cleaned sanded the pads etc.. Cheers

How's this solution working out for you? I got a PIR sensor electrical plug to use on my Christmas tree and really enjoyed it until the forced-air heating started triggering it. What kind of false triggers have you experienced? Based on my experience with that PIR plug, for my Jack and Jill bathroom issue, I don't consider PIR alone will be adequate. I think it would be good to add to the poster that the doors unlock automatically if the power goes out.

It's easy if the missing part is a bolt or a screw, but if a structural part is missing from the box, and you didn't check it within 14 days from the purchase, then you're basically screwed. I've just realized that I've thrown €600 out of the window, because one leg of a fancy desk I've bought a couple of weeks ago is missing. My bad, my fault, I didn't check the package right away. The lovely telephone consultants and helpful customer service employee at the store were doing what they could, but there's nothing that could be done and they are very sorry. That's it, I probably need to improvise it myself.

My cheap Ebike has a similar power switch, but a different controller. The manual does not state how to change settings, though the P codes appear to be the same. I will try your instructions on my bike at first opportunity.

It all comes down to the installer you get and if they’re good at installing kitchens. The cabinets themselves are fine.

Hiya so my screen arrived sw900 it has two connection ports a 5 pin and a two pin ,I have no idea where the smaller two pin goes, I have fitted the 5 pin and I followed your set up , but nothing registers on the screen but the bike works on pas and horse off far to fast , mph not workin , watts not working but the screen illuminates with battery at 75% , obviously the two pin goes some where is your SW900 like this .?

Jesus. Punched a hole in your roofing felt rather than running it through the overlap. I’d have gone spare as that’s going to leak at some point. What a bunch of cowboys. I think you need to get a review of the installation and issue a court action against them. Refusing you guarantee because you didn’t sign it? If it is the same company as the one on the internet with the same name but no space between the first 2 words it seems that they complain about their customer bullying them. From a legal stand point they are in breach of the consumer rights act especially if this was within the first 6 months so I would have put it to him in writing he either responds as requested or you would have to take the matter under legal advisement. With that level of workmanship I would probably not let them back on site and gone for a independent expert review and then hand it over to a solicitor. Make sure you have family legal on your house insurance and then get them to pay for the court case. It makes my blood boil when people in business make comments like you refer to. You gave them instruction, they accepted the job, did the work and you paid them money. A contract exists and is governed under the consumer rights act.

For anyone installing this kit the Open Source Firmware is essential. It'll allow you to bring the cadence up and improves the ride immensely. You can also change the assistance levels as the difference between off (cycling through treacle) and level 1 (easy riding) imo leaves no in-between

Tip 2 is poor advice as you pay way over the top for the kitchen being fitted, plus many of their fitters are poor at best.
