Love it. My '65 has the same up front; GW uppers/lowers, 16: 1 box, Shelby idler/pittman and EPAS. Getting the alignment dialed in with modern components is a night and day difference with these cars. And, yes, EPAS is the way to go. My girlfriend got tired of me cicling block after block looking for a parallel parking space at the front or back of a line of parked cars. Parking a V8 Mustang with manual steering is for the birds! My 65 fastback came to me as a T-code with drums all around and a 3-speed auto. When I converted to a V8/5-speed I was going to keep everything "old school" - manual brakes, carbed, cable clutch, manual steering. That plan lasted all of a day. I want to drive my car, not fight with it. You've given me some ideas for the back end. I was looking at going 4-link but maybe I'll just try a panhard bar first and see how that goes.

Well I've been looking for this car for a while I know where there's another exact one of these in omak Washington. It was sitting in a storage place for years now it's gone. I don't remember the number but the wheels were gold instead of grey like yours. But same body kit same wing. It's in not very good shape it was cooked by the sun I don't know if it ran or not. I thought it had wider body fenders than yours but they must be the same. Maybe it's those flares by the wheels that I thought it was but I haven't seen it in a couple years. Crazy if I would have known that there was only 9 of those made I would have tried harder to figure out who owned it. I knew it was a special car though because I had never seen another one quite like it.

@@NicktheNarrator to be honest the bumpers were already done when I bought the car.
