3 Provo, Utah Officers just promoted! Pigs Lie! Chet Whatcott is a sexist lying bully cop who should be relieved of duty. Otte and Patrick covered up for him when he assaulted my wife in the parking lot of the Provo Deseret industries while moonlighting as a loss prevention officer. Robert Patrick is paid by Off Duty Services to provide officers for D.I. and other Corperate entities. This is one of the perks "good officers" get to collect extra money for doing very little. Whatcott is one of his gang members. Otte is the head of the Internal Affairs department for Provo PD so all complaints are "handled" by him. So they have all the bases covered! It's a tight little organization. My dad used to say that s#$t always floats to the top. The last Cheif was let go for allegations of rape after the continued coverup got out of controll costing Provo tax payers $750,000 to settle claims with the women who's complaints were covered up by Mayor Curtis and Internal affairs department. Then there's the court system that will always side with the Police no matter what! No justice no peace!

This aquifer project is a short term fix. Really interesting idea, many potential externalities. What would be great is if Provo City could help lead the effort to reverse Utah's draconian water harvesting laws so that residents could build resilient water harvesting systems in their own backyard. See the work of Brad Lancaster, Bill Mollison, Andrew Millison, Mark Sheppard, Peter Andrews etc. If ground water levels are an issue, maybe we shouldn't pave everything over with asphalt and shoot the water quickly down the drainage system. We should be encouraging residents to plant the rain. By supporting such initiatives on an even more local level, it would reduce the water demand AND it would raise groundwater levels. It would really be wonderful if Provo's public servants could lead the way on these efforts.

It takes some time for KZbin to process the video after the live broadcast ends. The entire meeting should be accessible now.

The audio on these recordings is almost unintelligible. Please find someone to do a better job on the audio.
@ProvoMunicipalCouncil8 жыл бұрын
+pontifier Thank you for your feedback on the broadcast of this meeting. We have had limited funds to work with in providing these broadcasts. While the regular Council meetings are filmed by Provo's Channel 17, work sessions and other meetings are broadcast using laptops, webcams, and tabletop microphones. We are also vulnerable to slow network and Internet connections. Please be patient with us. Upgrades are being planned for the near future that should help with the quality of the recording.

These are barely audible... is there any way that we can amend that?
@ProvoMunicipalCouncil9 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your patience as we continue to try to improve the sound quality of our broadcasts. We are using a very simple system for capturing the sound and some individuals have very soft voices which are difficult to capture well. Here is a link to just the audio recording (which may be better since it is recorded more directly): provout.swagit.com/play/03112015-1039

The sound is fine from whoever is standing at the podium. It's the people speaking around the table that's the problem. But I wasn't listening for a while so let me see how it is as soon as somebody speaks from the table again.

Diane, will you kindly check in just for a minute and report on the sound. Your feedback will help me improve our system. I hope you'll forgive our occasional technical hurdles. We have provided this service for an additional outlay of $300. I call it a boot-strap production.
