Great chat with Mark, fascinating hearing about the development of a mainstream brand like Glenfiddich and Grants. Interesting he is now going to a much smaller company in Duncan Taylor. A distillery purchase in the offing perhaps?

Don’t take this the wrong way but if you have a guest, I want to hear them speak. If you start going on and it doesn’t lead to a question or it’s a ‘this one time at band camp’ I’m not very interested. Have questions prepared, leave a gap after the person has finished speaking to ensure they have finished before you interject. Ask yourself ‘will the listener be interested in the story about my aunt Mable or do they want to hear the expert speak’. I like your podcast and you seem like nice guys.
