I hate how everyone trashed her. I miss this era of lolita. We were reclaiming our bodies and dressing up to stick it to men who oversexualized us. It was a reclamation of girlhood. I hope she's doing well these days.

@@eri2311a dunno for sure but I can guess. Probably because she was a model and gorgeous. She's like 30 here, and she looks like she's 12. She had access to all those beautiful dresses and people get jealous. But she's just such a cute and good person, on the side of her being a model, she was also training to be a nurse way back then.

so here's my take as a teenager: with genres like hyperpop emerging recently i think this song has a place to be enjoyed nowadays!! i know it wasn't exactly a style decision but the high pitched heavily autotuned vocals give it a really nostalgic juvenile vocaloid feel, not to mention lyrics that perfectly capture the lolita essence, finding its strength in gentle, cute feminity but in a way that is not intended to please men. this music video is a gorgeous showcase of the subculture and i unironically dig the vibe of the song
