I am going to credit Josh Freese for getting Sting to finally perform Spirits at this faster tempo, complete his awesome FULL BASS LINE. WooHoo! Such a great listen. Thank you for posting. I just wish that woman who simply would not stop talking would have stayed home. It happens at every concert. Listen, people. A concert is for LISTENING.

It'd be awesome if Plant opened his concerts with the pulsating, whirling electronic intro from his early solo tours. What a vibe setter that was!

I don’t get it. Sting is always touring with his band. Clearly they are not in the same league as the Police. These are guys are good but no comparison to the Police. Sting should reform the Police and make another album with the police and then tour. Then go out in style.

I love how if I squint my eyes and use a bit of my imagination, y'all come off looking like DMB back in the 90's and early 2000's. With the sound, no imagination needed, it's wonderful.

We saw her two weeks after this, and when she sang this during her encore set, I said to my husband, “this is the song I want sung at my funeral.” The next day, my mother died. He sang it at her funeral. Six months later, we sang it at Daddy’s funeral. Still my favorite hymn, but I can’t make it through without turning into a puddle of tears.
