Yes. To become high status in this world, you just have to be influential in one thing. So a KZbinr needs to become so good, he becomes influential to other KZbinrs. A scientist has to become so good, he becomes influential to other scientists. When you become so good to the point where people in your field look up to you. That’s when you gain status. You pretty much become a leader in your field of expertise. And that’s when you become so important, the world doesn’t want you to die in some battlefield. They need you. It doesn’t have to be government to be high status. It can work in any field.
