Thank you for the informative video? What about inverted pleats in the side seams of the dress? Like the late 1960s style? I have pattern instructions but the pleats on the dress are sewn a little differently than what you've shown here because they are in the side seams. Any advice?

Love love love all, one 💋 suggestions? Will you be allowed table brollies over the outside tables? We do in Australia and they allow patrons just a little more privacy from the noise and movement around, but not detracting from the ambience whatever as that's why we should choose your cafe to go to in the first place! Well done and best wishes with your business!

That was so much simpler than I thought it would be! I am making a simple dress for my 11-year-old granddaughter. The pattern has a narrow but high puffed sleeve that takes away from the simplicity. So easy now!

I hadn't made a chain loop for at least three decades and had forgotten how to. It brought to mind sitting with my mom when I was about nine years old and her teaching me how to. So grateful for her and for all that she taught me. Thank you!

The best way to make a coverlock stitch using an ordinary sewing machine is making the double-bordered zigzag using the twin needle. Before you do this, check the width of your stitch to prevent either needle from hitting the edge of the hole in the foot. If you do it carefully, then there's absolutely no need to use a coverlock machine.

I watched this multiple times, sorry, and couldn't understand this. I'm a sewing student working on fabric with a right and wrong side (pattern/white). Care to do one with a patterned fabric on one side that is white on the other side like quilt cotton? That would be amazing. Thank you.

Can I use this to get rid of the "puff" from a puff sleeve pattern? I have a blouse pattern with puff sleeves and really like it but I want a plain sleeve rather than a puff sleeve.
@colleenglea29 күн бұрын
It depends on the amount of fullness you want to get rid off. There is a better method which is more advanced.
