I remember often hearing this song on His Radio during my undergrad years at Appalachian State University. Such a timeless and lovely song!

The girl was the Jessica Simpson of the "Christian Pop Princess" from that time along Stacie Orrico and Rachael Lampa. It's a shame she doesn't have any video from her two album she's great!

How do you decide that she walked away from the Lord? Just because she chose a different genre ..? Her new songs are so deep and emotional and beautiful and Im sure that the Lord is happy about her using her gift in a wonderful way! Better understand that Jesus is so much beyond that, and beyond words and genres. Its so good that actually only the Lord's opinion of people counts, and not yours...

I love this song! Somehow, God always brings it back to me (whether by the radio or KZbin's suggestions) when I'm feeling rather low. It's a song I've both danced and cried to, and it is very dear to my heart.

It's happened a million times before. People think they are missing something by keeping away from that cynical superficial little realm called the world where no one ultimately cares about you. Hope she finds the easy path back.

Joy Williams has such a beautiful voice that the Lord has gifted her but I've read her biography, I don't know if it's truth but from what I gather, she has walked away from her faith and the Lord. Something to the saying that "she no longer felt comfortable singing the songs, she had a tectonic change in her life" It saddens me greatly, I pray that she would come back to what she loved first, the LORD. :,(

I just figured out that this Joy Williams is the same Joy Williams from the Civil Wars. Crazy, I used to have this CD when I was 14. She sounds so different now.
