I didn't think of using the milk chocolate as a base for the black even though I do add cocoa to my buttercream before adding black. Just didn't think of it 🙈 so thanks

I have a question. I prefer milk chocolate over white and I think most people do because it’s less sweet. I was just wondering if you can dye milk chocolate instead of white? All colours? Perhaps a stupid question but one I’d like to know the answer to if you can. 😊

Unfortunately, im 2yrs late, and im pretty sure you've adjusted and tweaked your method because the straws were soft and instead of using the torch, what about a stick pen with a big tip or a electric screwdriver. I think you could've poured the chocolate onto the top, which will be the back to give the back a smoother texture but great job😊

Good chocolate and allow it to develop over time. Also make sure you shake it well. My favorite is colourmill tho.

Thank you very much! I need to use this method for a cake design with cackecicles on top! I needed a way to stick a stick in the top while the chocolate is still wet so that I don’t crack the chocolate in order to reinforce it in the cake. I can’t do that with the mold! Greatly appreciate you 🙌🏾🫶🏾

So sorry for the late response. But yes you can make them in advance. You can make them and store them in a baggie or storage containers.

@kreativetreatst.v.4234 Жыл бұрын
Imo yes... I love Colour Mill. And if you buy thr big bottles you don't have to buy every single colour they have. You can mix colors to make others. I buy from www.berrycouturesprinkleshop.com/
@octaviashabazz7027 Жыл бұрын
Why did you use pink first, and why didn't you do the black color in white chocolate?
@kreativetreatst.v.4234 Жыл бұрын
You use pink 1st because white and red makes pink. If you add red to white you will get pink not red. So starting with pink you are closer to a red color. And Chefmaster won't color white chocolate black from my experience.

Do you let them sit after taking out of freezer or dip immediately? Sorry if this has been asked before.
@kreativetreatst.v.4234 Жыл бұрын
Hello... because I don't freeze them too long and the cake was warm when I started I dip out the freezer. If you premake your cake pop mix and freeze solid you definitely should allow them to reach room temperature to avoid blooming and cracking.

From what I've seen the Hobby Lobby brand taste good and you don't use a ton to get a good black for frosting.

How do you get your chocolate that consistently
@kreativetreatst.v.4234 Жыл бұрын
I use Merckens mixed with Eleven O One Couverture. It makes it so smooth. Plus I allow my chocolate to cool down. If need be I will add paramount crystals but that is rare now. If you check out my other videos description there is a description on how I melt my chocolate.

Hi! Would you please tell me how you’re getting your chocolate melts to look so fluid? I know you said that you used paramount crystals, but mine doesn’t ever get this thin-looking. I mostly use the Ghirardelli melts. Thank you
@kreativetreatst.v.42342 жыл бұрын
Honestly I don't do anything special. I honestly have only used the Ghirardelli chips never the melts but with paramount crystals any chocolate should get this fluid. Make sure you are heating properly and allowing your chocolate to cool.

Hii, so for some reason whenever I use the colors orange and yellow they both seize up and leave the chocolate too thick and really bad to work with, do you have any tips?
@kreativetreatst.v.42342 жыл бұрын
Warm your bottles up and shake well. If it's getting thick it's cause the oil in the bottles isn't being mixed in with the color. Which is causing the chocolate to seize.

Definitely might as well just invest in Colour Mill. You’ll go through 2 bottles of ChefMaster, wasting money.
@kreativetreatst.v.42342 жыл бұрын
Chefmaster is fine and I didn't use even a half of a bottle. Plus if you have the time to allow it to develop you use less. Plus its cheaper. The bottles of Colour Mill in my vid are $20 vs Chefmaster for $8. It's all about preference. I prefer Colour Mill but my prices reflect it.
