友達が居なくて辛かった高校生活、3年間休まずに通えたのは義勝さんの曲を聴ける登下校時間があったからだよ。イヤホンで義勝さんの曲を聴けば足が勝手に動いたし一人ぼっちでも頑張れた。グループのことは部外者にはわからないけど、どうか潰されないでね。

The pick ups dont matter. For high gain aound ther aint no difrence. Maybey fir clean tone a litle Stop wasting ur money!!!

Off topic, but off hand do you or what do you reckon are the largest gauge top heavy strings one could put on this guitar without replacing or modifying the stock nut?

I don't know but you should just choose your string gauge and then get the nut slots adjusted by a luthier. Or even better, get a custom TUSQ nut made. Better to not mess around when it comes to the points the strings contact (nut - frets - saddles)

It might be the recording but there is almost no difference in tone. It became a lot less scratchy though.

the scratchiness is the difference. the ceramic magnets are kinda grainy or scratchy IMO

i got super lucky with mine in that regard. i wouldn't say "great fretwork" but they were leveled perfectly at least (not crowned or polished..)

Honestly very impressive mod to be able to do in terms of skill required for the labour but it sounds like you just moved the pickup height slightly further from the strings and maybe added 0.25 db of 750hz. Not sure if it’s worth the effort
