I like to use the D’Addario chromes. Then I replace the wound G string with a .18 unwound. A great sound and feel.

Great sounding gears and playing is superb! Is this a tube or solid state amp?

One of the most interesting takes on this standard I've heard. My son wanted to learn it. He normally plays metal but I've convinced him to give jazz a try but because he knows advanced techniques from metal, most of the renditions bored the hell out of him, but I think he'll like this. Love the tone on the guitar.

Is this Eastside guitar standard loaded with a HB pickup? Or did you changed it yourself? Sounds BIG, WARM & FAT btw.!!
@NicholasRussell14 күн бұрын
Hi there - the guitar was made with this PU.
@paulgerards649414 күн бұрын
@ Ok, well mine was made with a Lollar CC in a HB housing! Unfortunately this was not in balance 😢 So I switched to a Lollar P90 in a HB housing! 😘 Sounds amazing: a more acoustic sound than your HB version, which sounds amazing too! 👍

Great playing. Bit of a midnight blue influence?

Nice you noticed that. I heard some of my Kenny influence emerge, too. Cheers!

That is a nice sound. For home use this seems to be more suitable than say the fender 40 watt amps, since you can push up the volume for suitable tone. Would I be correct. Thank you.

Mesa gets to be affiliated with metal.. but sound like that is what attracted me to own one. The funny thing is that smith moded the fender princeton. i don't see why someone could pay 1000 for a fender tube amp over a mesa mark v
