I just bought a Craftsman box that is nowhere near as good as your products (but will do for what I need) but I was looking for that foam tape that wasn’t supplied with my unit. Now I know what to look for. And if I was a contractor, yours is definitely the product I would have gotten.

Are these slippery when wet or snowy/icy? We live in WA state and it rains almost daily. Any steps we put on our 2020 Titan need to have anti slip built on the steps. Last thing we need is kiddo or one of his friends to attempt to get into the truck and slide off the step and get hurt!

Why didn't my kit come with lock tight?

Just installed mine, I had to remove the rubber bumper for proper closing, excellent product.

Just installed this on my passenger side. Now I have to order another one to put it on the right side. My tailgate literally falls off the bushing with the assist on the passenger side.

Love the concept and is almost perfect for my 2019 GMC 1500 Crew Cab but if you live in a city where most of the time you can't always open your doors fully, let alone 1/4 of the way most times, and it would be hard to access things towards the middle or items that are longer on nature. Here is an idea (probably a challanging one too), how about one that slides out forward (like towards the front of the cab) that also can be quickly accessed from either side (or from within the cab from the front seats) utilizing only one point of a locking/unlocking mechanism that is still pry resistant (similar to a tall gun safe) to protect things of value and/or that you do not want falling into the wrong hands. (Also with enough room to store a modern sporting rifle with optic and maybe with the magazine attached). An awesome additional option to that would be having the option of adding some kind of quick access technology like and RFID option. If you could do something like that, I would be more than sold... and I am sure a lot of others would be too... especially if you could keep it within the price point of this one (within $100 or so). Just an idea...

I have both a '97 and a 2000 Ford F-150, both with the same tailgate, however different from the one you feature in this video. The configuration on my tailgates require drilling a hole, but I was able to make it work.

How far can it extend on one side? The website says it's 54 inches long.

So I purchased the whole set up as well and I had a question if you would appease me. The front rack is about 2 inches higher than the back rack is that correct? I purchased all the correct parts for my truck. It doesn't make sense to me? So my top rails are at an angle leaning down towards the rear of the truck. Is yours like that? Thanks

In the video, when attaching the fuel hose from the tank to the roll-over valve in the filler tube, the large hose clamps are loose and swinging, just as they were earlier in the video. Seems like an editing issue.
