We're pretty much the same age and I remember that match like it was yesterday. Despite all of the tragedies that led up to it, and that would follow in the years to come, it's still an amazing moment and the most emotionally charged match I've ever seen.

I was a kid just getting into wrestling in the late 70’s , early 80’s. Snuka was one of my favorite. No internet so the magazines with pictures of him and Murocco and Backlund matches were special. Turns out he’s a women beater and murderer. Total scumbag. I used to think he was the best.

My first Wrestling match was David Von Erich and Harley Race two out of three falls at the Kiel Auditorium in St Louis MO. I was 14 at the time and it was fun for sure in 1981

I miss David von Erich and Kerry von Erich Kerry von Erich was one of my favorite wrestlers I just wish they would have got help all these you know Devin Eric boys you know they they got into some s*** and they got out of control you know and now remember Fritz saying please Lord don't take any more of my children I feel for French he's up there with his sons all his sons that passed away Kerry von Erich is one of my favorite wrestlers I just wish she would have gotten him more help for his drug problem people got problems and they got issues and we shouldn't be so quick to judge them
