It wasn’t a bad movie. It wasn’t great either. You felt like you visited the game. It wasn’t a good movie either. Thin plot and easily predictable. Gary did better than expected. Blanchet was fine. JLC did an excellent Tannis. Atlas is blah. Moxxxie was blah. Tina and Krieg were good. But hands down, the best was Jack Black’s claptrap. He was good. Bobby Lee was cool. I can’t imagine that a non borderlands player would enjoy it more than once. Graphics and effects were pretty good.

It is also blatantly obvious they didn't check source material, since Roland doesn't live to see Tiny Tina become a teen let alone adult. Tina is very much looking like and adult since the bunny ears she wears are from when she is an adult and professional mercenary alongside Mordicai and Brick who seem absent from the Movie. Krieg looks to have also been shown when he is a second Generation Vault Hunter, thus making me wonder where Zero, Gaige, Axton, Salvador, and Maya are. It seems they picked a handful of characters they could get actors for, and made a story around them. With the exception of Jamie Lee Curtis, who I can very much feel as Tannis, just older. The entire roster feels like if they were the spoof cast of Borderlands the Movie if they did something equivalent to "Meet the Spartans" or "Epic Movie" Jack Black as Claptrap is also very fitting as he can pull off the energy needed and possibly make him more lovable. Otherwise, I'm seeing actors I don't even know. Or in the case of Roland, Kevin Hart is a good actor, however he is not known for portraying the type of character Roland is, which is disheartening as it points towards they are trying to make him funny when Roland in a funny act is the straight man. Roland can be funny, only when he is the serious one. I also so far have not seen who the enemy is but one shot suggests it to be Handsome Jack???? Who obviously is the most popular of the Enemies. However if you are going to use an enemy from the games, changing the story from what already was is a big deviation when you have a whole game to base you events off. I actually hope the villain is someone unknown so the story will hopefully make more sense and not drag down what these writers are trying to do. But the worse most bitter part of this, is that it seems possible that the effectiveness of this movie, might be Life or Death for Borderlands 4 and that just stinks
