The design is great. Good job. I love the brick work, the waterfall and the colored lights in the plants. Personally, I'd add some bluegill, crappie, bass, and trout for eating and stop paying the grocery store for fresh fish. I bet BBQ parties in the backyard are fun at your house.

Have you built a cover since then?/ Hail storms can kill fish in seconds by droping the water temp too fast and they will go into shock. I'm in Texas and have restocked many ponds because of temps being over 90 degrees and then having hail drop overnight killing koi. Love the pond!! Just be careful of hail.First thing when i sell my koi is "do you have protection from above?" We also have a lot of birds that like to hover around our area since we are near the seaside...so it keeps the blue herons and diving birds away from the pond...an of course the fish love the shade.
