Thanks so much for listening to and commenting on my song! Unfortunately, you clicked out right before most fun part but I definitely appreciate the comments that were said! Bringing up the vocals is the #1 comment everyone else has and that I agree with. It is pretty interesting that I've been met with half comments saying to raise the guitar level and about half saying to turn it down. Like this: "...But, that being said, I think the synths and the vocals take all the front of the mix, and the guitars get muted, even though their sound is distinctive; I wanted to hear more of that and less of the crystal synth wash." Different strokes for different folks I guess! Thanks so much for listening for all the feedback!

Hi Josh! You listened to my song “Praying To Selene” on this stream. I just wanted to thank you for doing this sort of thing on Fridays. Your input and expertise is so invaluable for noobs like me who are basically winging it in the studio. 😅 I really appreciate the feedback!

Apparently the stream cut out immediately after I started and jumped back in one song number 3 or 4. I will make sure to do your song next week. Thanks for your patience as I figure all this out on my end! Peace.

In my latest version of Logic Pro (11.0.1) MIDI Input is OPTION+I (and not Command I as you say in your video) ... this may have changed with Version 11 ... in any case ... great tip !

Hello Guy, I learned a lot from your LogicPro videos, thank you for that ! Why is not possible to edit the vocals anymore in LogicPro 11.1 like in in this video? I was so used to it. I want that back. Regards, Pieter Tak from TakandBand, Holland

Excellent tutorial videos! From time to time I'm left with questions as to "why" or in what circumstances would a technique be needed. For example, when you demonstrate converting a stereo track to mono, you show how to do this but you don't explain why a person would choose to do this or need to do it in a music project. So at times I'm left wondering 'why' ... although your explanations of "what" and "how" are excellent, top quality. 👍

Just a general ‘Big Thanks’ for all of the hugely helpful content you post up for Logic tuition 💯 Since I moved across from Cubase ( which I still love, btw ), your informative videos have helped me swiftly get up to speed with Logic. I can honestly say that Logic is now my go to for song composition and I’d of really struggled without your videos to reference. If ever I make a few quid from my music, I’ll not forget you 😉

this is the greatest logic course on KZbin, thanks for the help! is the step sequencer basically a matrix-view version of piano roll?
@EdgarEricson2 күн бұрын
Could you add a chord in the piano roll? Like a function, where you just choose from a list, because you don't know which notes that are included in the chord and you just want to come forward fast, without really learning anything about music theory? Great course by the way! Thanks!

This question may be a bit late, but pretty relevant since Black Friday 2024 sales are in full swing, and I expect Melodyne to start theirs soon. I read in another video's comment section that Flex Pitch was Meant to be used with CAF files. Have you noticed much of a difference using that format, and are there various pros/cons associated that you've noticed? Thanks tons!

Do you reccomend this for lead vocal recordings? My condeser mic has too much floor noise and this makes the vocal PERFECT (to my novice ears).

This is the revolution in music production that we needed for a long time! Thank you for these amazing tips! Your videos are so helpful! By the way, I also noticed a new “Arrangement” track to the Global Tracks that I think would replace “Markers”. I wonder what that’s about.

I remember a few years ago you made a video about the best vocal mixing plugins and now that i am back into it i was wondering if the antares plugins are still worth it in 2025? it would be nice to have an updated video about best vocal plugins for 2025!

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I'm in Logic, I open my Sampler plug in, but when I click on another application (Splice in this instance), it closes my Sampler window. When I click back to Logic it opens again but this makes it impossible to drag a Splice sample into my Logic Sampler because the plugin window disappears as soon as I go to another app. This only started happening with the most recent update.

hey is there any way to turn of the marquee tool shortcuts?? i already use those key commands to automatically cut and nudge regions. so now when i make a marquee selection it does what you show in the video rather than cutting and nudging automatically - which is a huge time saver for me when nudging vocals for clients. i dont really have a need to increase the marquee tool selection by a small nudge value lol. any help would be great!
