Hi ! Thanks a lot for the tutorial, definitely helps ! I have the feeling the sound of the Volca Keys is warmer / fuller than my Minifreak's.... ?! Did you manage to get close to its sound with your Microfreak ? Which oscillator type woulf you recommend ? Cheers :)

When desperate for step-recording I use Active Step to isolate the step I want to affect. Then I just move the active step to the next position. Repeat until unnecessary. :)
@meilstone7 ай бұрын
You can switch on tempo delay so it automatically syncs to your tempo. I find the delay very basic but also nice because it adds some bit reduction which makes the sound breathe, even at a very low feedback setting. This is an incredible little box full of surprises.

Thank you so much for the tutorial! Is it possible though to record that swith between sequence 1 and 2 on memory port 3 for example, so you wouldn't have to do it manually?

MIDI
@Seoras1118 ай бұрын
Yes, you can certainly use a separate MIDI sequencer to record a sequence on the Keys, but not sure what the point would be other than being able to use then use the keys its own and recall the sequences from memory.

@zerobeat2020 Yes please! To be honest I've had my Volca Keys for years but never really got to grips with it. I'm a guitarist really but I love synths too but after trying to figure things out on the Volca, it's just so easy to go back to guitar.

Great stuff, specially the last part did it for me. And what a great initiative and idea, I didn't know you could jam like that via Zoom, i thought latency issues wont allow it. A true Gentlemen Club.
@zerobeat2020 Жыл бұрын
@kosinda, thanks so much for that. There is indeed latency, but the trick with this is to create music that is not latency critical and purposely do not try and sync anything...
