How many more "common problems" can this piece of trash company have. Piss poor products and even worse "service"

@@haystack17 thanks for watching! One company’s problem is another company’s opportunity I suppose. 🙂 Hopefully, this fix is a good work around for you.

@kingfisherkayakadventures honestly I do t have this issue ......yet.....haha. I won't have this stupid pile of garbage much longer. My steering transmission went out on me (another well known issue). Another Navonics brand with poor performance, known issues and zero service.

Yes. Keep a healthy respectful distance and they usually do as well.

I have looked at them. I didn’t like the pocket design for me. But, to each his own preference as long as people wear them! My knife is the NRS Co-Pilot

You never showed the boat actually turning. You weaved slightly right or left. For $180, I feel I would want a product that turned better than that.

Good point. It was my first time using the prototype. Holding the camera, adjusting directions ans avoiding jet skis may have given a limited perspective. I encourage anyone to give it a test drive at a local dealer before you spend any money. Thanks for the feedback!

I wear mine, it is comfortable and I have tried it. It works. I went with red for improved visibility, especially if in the water. Mine is the NRS Chinook. My only issue is the zippers. The zippers can be fouled by saltwater. Velcro would be better because in an emergency the zipper pocket may not open. I do rinse the zippers after each outing.

Good point about the zippers! Rinse down everything after being in saltwater!

Great video. I probably would have fixed mine that way had I known about the product. Mine recently broke and I superglued the broken piece back in. Then I mixed some JB weld and reinforced the weak area. If it breaks again I'll probably order the kit. Thanks for sharing this.

Very helpful video. The sizing on the Raku is weird. The XS/M is chest 30"-42" and the L/XL is 42"-52". In my case, XS/M would be the right choice. However, the XS/M is only for weights up to 132 lbs. There are a lot of people in the world with less than 42" chest who weight more than 132 lbs.

Maybe it doesn't convey well on video, but your turns seemed to be very slow and not very responsive. It would be nice to see someone do a few 360° circles and gauge the turn radius. It seems useless if it requires the entire width of the river to turn around.
@kingfisherkayakadventures8 ай бұрын
Thank you for commenting! Yes, I was being especially cautious since it was my first time using it and I was also filming with one hand while trying to keep track of the boat traffic on the water in current. With the motor located on the stern, the turning radius is very tight.

senkos, speed worms, and beavers have a permanent spot in the day box for my kayak fishing down here. the zoom univibe and magnums catch fish but if you want to try something different try the gambler burner worm - they're made of a little different plastic that casts and holds up better and they come up in the water really well for when you're burning it across the top. usually fish senkos on the fall, i'll have to try twitching it.
