The singer could have toned down the “Robert plant” attire and style a bit. A little too effeminate. I hate Led Zeppelin.

To be fair to Gillan - he's nearly 79 and at least he's going for it in the original key. I'd rather hear someone trying rather than miming. Personally I would drop it down a few semitones but again that's a personal decision

So glad to see these titans of rock still going strong. Yes, Gillan isn't hitting the soaring highs of the olden days, but come on--he's almost 80! Insane how many people are complaining in these comments. Just enjoy them for as long as they're around, because (and it's a somber thought) they won't be around forever.

Indeed in my opinion he still sings very good , I saw them again in 2022 and Ian even got applause from Roger singing" when a blind man cries". He had a bad cold in June and singing than must be very hard but he didn't want to dissapoint his fans I guess because he and the others are such lovely ,fine men. I'm looking forward to their new lp and I'll see them again in Oktober and I'm so very happy!

Non capisco una versione di questa canzone fatta così male, è tutto mischiato, era eseguita prima l’organo e poi la chitarra era bellissima (io li ho visti dal vivo nel 2006) adesso è solo un gran casino , peccato!!

Sean Harris was to diamond head as Paul Di'anno was to iron maiden. Diamond head needed their Bruce Dickinson to take them further.
@roaming74019 күн бұрын
no fuckin way dude, Sean wrote all the lyrics and many of the songs, not to mention his voice... it was just his attitude regarding management and money and stuff that imploded the band
@Bman-xy2vh16 күн бұрын
Sean was a prima Donna. He was talented, don't get me wrong but he absolutely destroyed the band. Imagine what they could have been. He held them back.

www.youtube.com/@t34263 (Drummer) The vocal part is very technical...this historic song "HIGHWAY STAR" requires a lot of energy and endurance of the vocal cords with breathing and movements :high notes). The legendary singer intelligently places his voice (given his age)....

High range vocal rock singers sound great when they are young and at the top of their game .. Unfortunately , it’s hard to reach and nail those notes with pure power once you get older.. It’s an unfortunate and natural part of aging and not much anyone can do about it … My take is this ,,, just go to the concerts to see your idols of yesteryear , sing along and appreciate what they did for your listening pleasure in your younger years 🤷♂️
