When you said bigger bait I was thinking you would go with a 6”-8” profile. Those small trout get fired up and start biting in every water column. Guarantee there was a big girl watching and lurking. Beautiful day and awesome video 🤙🏾

Yeah it’s my 2nd season with it and i honestly love it. I have been over 40 miles off shore and then as shallow as the trolling motor would take me.

Caught most of my specs just south of the skyway bridge. And in Sarasota bay around the siesta drive bridge.

@Dstewart_Outdoors not deep at all. The channel that cuts south from the skyway towards Terra Cia at high tide is 20ft max. Mostly around 6ft. There is a spec breeding ground there just before you get in the cut. Lots of baby hammerheads. Their fav food is trout. In Sarasota just under the siesta drive bridge always has specs and huge reds. And lots of snook. That one is my old faithful since like 1987. Water is maybe 6ft in the holes.
