@@MikyDunn Good morning Miky. Thanks for mentioning the song. That's why there were several setlists in this live that I didn't know but the name was familiar. 2 songs from Andy's recent album are good like Big Trigger and Getting in Home in 2008 and he improved a lot on the album. ♥

And several years later when Showbiz came out, those specialists at the English music press called those boys copycats of Radiohead. That's just lazy reporting. Bellamy has a gift that the trio fulfills from the start.
@The-Seventies3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I love Radiohead, bit Muse does not sound anything like them. It was probably because of the falsetto singing both Matt and Thom do. Lazy journalism indeed.

Think I'm getting some vibes that are a bit along the lines of Silverchair, but this was a year before Silverchair came onto the scene. Perhaps this was the result of inspiration from Nirvana that impacted a good number of young bands at the time. Crazy to think how much their sound changed in just a few years leading up the the release of the first album. Seems like that coincided with Jeff Buckley and Radiohead coming into the scene close to when this was filmed.

Dude, the fuck. Powerful song in my opinion. Music is on point, alright. Vocals I don't know why, but the begining somehow makes me think of Zakk Wylde so much. when you hit the lower tones, man, a lot of him there. The higher tones I get the feeling you lose yourself, I don't know. You have your own 'pallete' for sure, so I hope you don't mind me making the Zakk reference ;-). but hey this popped up in my feed and well, thank you sir for a good song!
