Had no idea a version of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra was still going. Sounds excellent.

Chris is such a next level creator/entertainer! So very satisfying to listen to. Interesting, I never noticed his pausing ticks while speaking to the crowd. The statement in favor of wearing the mask is ignorant, at best.

My boyfriend and I took my parents to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra 6 months ago in Beverly, MA for my dad's 87th birthday. My dad is a retired professional trumpet player and my boyfriend got them to wish him happy birthday from the stage and dedicate "A String of Pearls" to him. It made his entire life!!! 💞

This was amazing to listen to and watch. My parents listened to Glenn Miller and his Orchestra so i grew up with it. All of you are incredible musicians and singers. I'm so glad i got to watch this. It brought me a lot of comfort and peace in a difficult time

I want to see this man live just once. I've always been drawn to artists that get the crowd involved and Seamus seems to get the same enjoyment out of entertaining as he gets out of being entertained by the crowd.

We saw the Tribute Band in the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool and danced (ballroom style) and jived to the music. It was incredible. My Dad used to play in a 1950s dance band and could play Glen Miller’s tunes so I grew up with it. At 80 it still makes me move. 😁

The original arrangement of Vernon Duke´s famous "April In Paris" for Basie was written by my great friend, mentor and teacher, jazz-organ pioneer Wild Bill Davis. Wild Bill was booked for the original recording-session but his van with the organ broke down on the trip from his home in St.Albans, NY (Queens) to the studio. He arrived when the recording was finished...too late! For many years the tutti-chorus ("One More Time") was used as a signation at the end of every set with his jazz organ trio. I adapted the whole arrangment for my own organ trio. Still perform it from time to time.

Love the Asian beauty playing 2nd alto. The guys (old and young) have something other than the music to look at ! Still she had to be a very good player to make the section. Especially how to blend with the required fat vibrato! Kudos to all-love the sound of the Canopus drums too.

how depressing is this ? The guitarist even "played" Marvin's solo. It's like a wedding cover's band or a Tribute band ? The only thing to be done to get the legacy going on is not to do cover bands ! But to take the spirit of what it did to us and to put it into our own music. For the rest we might just watch some original video footage of the wailers. I think we have some.
