Gotta love Vintage Story. I'm scared shitless going into caves and when I saw the sawblade locust first time I noped the hell out of there. I play without temporal storms myself, I get nausea and migraine from the trippy effects, no amount of reducing the glitchiness and waving makes it any better. So, better without. I would recommend making some crates for bulk storage for single type items such dirt, stones, cobble stone, clay etc since those things have a tedency to accumulate over time in large quantities. Aged crates found from ruins have 16 slots, and ones you make yourself have 20 slots, I think.

I think its an insult that everyone who comes from Minecraft refears to vintage story as a simple clone on alternative or minecraft for adults. Vintage story is its own game way different then minecraft i and to simply call it clone or ripoff is an insult to the devs and community in my opinion. Yes i am part of that community and I can say that game has nothing in common other then being voxel game. Then we can call non released hytel game mc clone right???

Listen, compared to minecraft, vintage story’s community is the size of a grain of salt. If i want the video to reach a wider audience i need Minecraft in the title for the algorithm and that people who have never heard of it have an idea of what the game is about. And if you read the comments i already replied to someones similar comment about vintage story being its own game and i completely agreed, although the game is based on the Minecraft’s modpack terrafirmacraft.

Bold to do a HC playthrough, as this game can be very rippy. Doubly so as a new player, so props. Worth noting as well you need helm, chest, and leggings to get full protection from a set of armor. Good luck in the 2nd half!

Its more of a marketing strategy as very few people would click on a vintage story title rather then something minecraft based, but its nowhere near a minecraft alternative and is its own original game that just happens to share the same art style

Vintage Story is harder than minecraft at its default settings. Vintage Story also has a fully modular difficulty that can make it more chill than minecraft's easy mode, almost approaching the qualities of peaceful, without the problems of peaceful (such as complete lack of survival mechanics and hostile mobs at all to farm) This modular difficulty can swing on the other end of the spectrum too, letting you create hardcore permafrost with soil instability and cave ins where you starve 4 times quicker and food spoils 4 times quicker and tools last 25% as long. I like vintage story because of how much choice it allows you. From Easier than minecraft easy, to literally harder than the long dark.

I completely agree with that. I mostly used default settings because I wanted the vanilla experience. Imo the game is already pretty hard as it is😁 at least for me

You can't make lime water with crushed quartz, you have to grind limestone rocks in the quern. Not sure what you meant by "SKEPS" tho💀

@@realxdey you can make traditionnal skeps for bee to populate, and get honey. instead of going to increasingly long distance to break natural beehive. if i remember correctly, there's a guide in "animal husbandry"

the game is more similar to TerraFirmaCraft not rlcraft and rlcraft should never been "realistic" it's just annoying with half the machinics broken or butchered to be annoying difficult
