I've done so many tests with the glass cup, but it’s just not working. I’m giving up now. There's not even a video explaining this in detail. Black doesn't turn out black, and the other colors don't come out right. Example video. kzbin.infogrQv3qH7_u4 I used green paper, and I got the same result! I'm thinking about returning the product.

Firstly, please adjust the focus and minimise the spot before engraving, secondly, try to reduce the speed to 150 to try

@@wainlux2023 Spot? What did you mean? Should I lower the height or reduce the size of the logo? Do you have any recommended brands for engraving paper? So you say; 150 Speed - %100 Power - 0,5 Interval right? What's the distance? 50mm? 100mm? Yellow, green, blue, and black are not working! I haven't had any issues with red and grey papers. I think the paper is burning during the engraving on the glass. It turns into a black and white/gray color. The same thing happens with black, green, yellow, and blue. I followed your advice and adjusted the laser settings carefully to the smallest possible values. Speed 150 / Power 100% / Interval 0.05% / Height 50mm The same thing happened again. The paper burned and turned white-gray. Thank you for your help.

The "interval" of our laser engraving machine can be understood as the engraving resolution. The smaller the value, the better the engraved image effect, but the engraving time will be longer. Setting the overscan value is to avoid the problem that the left and right sides of the engraved image are sometimes burnt and sometimes cannot be engraved. For example, if the engraving speed is too fast, the lines on the edge of the image may not be engraved. For example, if the engraving speed is too slow, the two sides of the image may be burnt. When the overscan value is set, the position of the laser moving during the engraving process of the engraving machine will exceed the image size set by our software. For example, if the overscan value is set to 2mm, the position of the laser moving will exceed 2mm on both sides of the image. If the image is relatively large, the set overscan value exceeds the engraving range of our engraving machine and will cause a collision.

I bought the K8 10w for its speed but also for the camera, so that I could engrave several pieces at once. My first response to the whole camera is why would you put limitations on it's use, such as it working in wifi mode only, It would have made more sense to me that it wouldn't work unless connected to the usb cable. Secondly why would you restrict special characters since they are the backbone of making a secure network connection. Last why would you restrict it to 2.4g internet access when most are 5g now. Unless I can figure out how to get my unit connected to the wifi the camera is useless. I tried several times to connect it to the K8 wifi I can't get that to work either.

Sorry for the inconvenience. You could set AP mode. When you open the machine, it also has wifi, name is WAINLUX_K8, use your computer or phone to connect it. The wifi password is 12345678.

The only way I could get my K8 to talk via WiFi was in AP mode - following the setup from this video NEVER worked

Bought the K8 broke before I paid it off bad laser and now bad wiring took one to the wallet and shelled out for the Xtool m1, ($1200)software is better no guessing on settings, you pay for it but my results speak for themselves. And Xtool at least has stateside personnel I was supposed to get a replacement laser never got … now the wiring is glitching and the laser won’t even work a little. So yeah spend the extra and get the Xtool you won’t regret it!

interval is a parameter setting, indicating how many lines of mm engraving. monochrome, jitter, greyscale are image patterns, which can be engraved on vellum, and you can see the difference.@@WTF4
