Why only now i heared mentioning these amulet. ,supertitious beliefs , charms etc. Frs. unless i myself undergone this .That its against God commands?

I was struggling with a bad friend last year and it took me a whole year to understand his motives. Actually he came on instagram chat, pretending to be catholic and we started to talk about church. Very (very) quickly he started a distant romance (a fake one) telling me how marvelous I was, etc. Beautiful words. And he talked to me all the time online. I was trapped. He even said He would come to see me but I never saw him. It was only about words, no actions. Then suddenly he was not interested in me and simply wanted to keep me as a "friend". It was very shocking, dangerous and destructive. He was asking me very personal questions and wanted to know everything about me. At the end, he wanted to reach my father for buisness purpose... I was just a pawn in his plan. I think he wanted money but never asked directly. He'd rather told me he could not be engaged with me because he had to help financally his poor family. He was always a victim and no matter how hard I try, I never found the "love" I felt in the beginning. The truth is : these people are not in love with you, they don't care BUT they want to keep you for their own interests... and if you are europeean or american that might be : money, position, traveling, ID paper, fake wedding for paper, etc. We christians are fool sometimes because we think the whole world is good as we try to be. These people have hidden interest that looks like love or friendship but it isnt ! It is everything BUT holy. I hope this comment may help someone one day. Narcissists exist even in the christian community. And remember some people labelled themselves as christian but they are not. You can go to church and be hypocrite. That was a shock for me. I felt very humiliated and used as an object at the end.
