Johnny Carson was the best Late Night Talk Show!!!! No one compares to him no one!!! I looked forward to watching him every night!!! His skits were so hilarious!!! Joan was so good and Jim Fowler!!! I loved when Jim was on and that crazy black monkey was on!!! He attacked Johnny and Johnny goes in karate- chop mode!!! It was great!!! No fun shows like that anymore.. All the Late Shows are all about Politics so very over it !!!! Miss Johnny dearly..😢😢😢...❤❤❤❤❤....

I NEVER missed Carson. Joan Embry and her critters were always fascinating. So sad that she has dementia now. When TV was great!

When I was a girl, I used to love when Joan was a guest. 🤗 My mom would make a bedtime exception when she was on. If I was still awake, she would let me get up and watch. What good memories this clip brought. 💖

Gosh, I miss that show. I’m 76, I remember my parents watching it after our bedtime, we’d get out of bed and sit at the top of the stairs and we could just see the TV and hear the show. When he retired, late night TV was never the same.

“Heaven Can Wait” (1978) was my introduction to Dyan Cannon. I was 15 and starting my junior year in high school in a small town that got most movies weeks or months after release. She was 41 and gorgeous. She kept looking better as she aged. I met a girl who was a senior almost two years older than I was, a ringer for Cannon in face, physique, and even hair, and told her she reminded me of Cannon. She was deeply flattered - a teen told she looked like a middle-aged woman. Cannon was a looker and extremely talented.

I saw this snake at the San Diego Zoo when I was young. I've always loved snakes. My family always had annual passes to the Zoo and Wild Animal Park and we got the monthly newsletter and there was an address listed in it for you to write to Joan Embry. I wrote her so many letters ☺️ My heros as a girl were Joan Embry, Jane Goodall, Jack Hannah and Jacques Cousteau.

Cary Grant was one of those unique men that looked as good as 60 as he did at 30. ... and he was genuinely a good person. They had a daughter and that "made his Life!" He was so happy to have a child and she was/us Beautiful. Routinely, Men age better than women in Physical appearance, and he had a particular "something", be that DNA and/or Perspective. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
