My father worked hard from a small village and made it to one of the primary cities of India, even though we were never that rich, he always used to surprise me with gifts in my childhood, he never refused to buy anything I needed academically, even though we were not fortunate enough to afford any luxuries, car, oven, air conditioner, he never compromised with my quality of education, and that had sparked the curiosity to explore the world of science, and at age 6, I had decided I will become the BEST SCIENTIST IN THE WORLD and win the NOBEL , but I slowly drifted apart from my goal, and even though I was told by many of my teachers that I had the Calibre, and my father too believed in me, I lived a life of ignorance until now, wasting time playinggames, partying, not studying the entire year, and exploiting my ability to grasp things quickly to start studying just a few days before my exams and getting decent marks, I am 17 now and I have realised now that I have been living my life deceitfully, lying to myself, procrastinating, breaking my father's trust, wasting my parent's money, ignoring the beauty of science, On this day, September 3rd 2024, I start living a new life, using my capabilities to help mankind, killing my past self and distractions, I promise myself that in 5 years I will come back to this comment in 2029 while sitting in the top research institute of India, and packing my bags to get to Harvard, I promise myself to help my family and the poor population of country financially, I promise god, I will sit in a Ferrari with my dad for sure ❤❤ "I WILL FUCKING DO IT FOR MYSELF"
