E possível aplicar visto E2 para um oficina móvel? E no caso carro e ferramentas entraria como investimento?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise 3 күн бұрын

Just to be clear, I am planning to get the EB-2 NIW Green Card and my Endeavor is to make Short Films on a specific cause in the US, and if i get it approved and move to the US, and then don't make those Short Films (In simple terms don't do what i said i'll do in my endeavor) and get another job and work for some employer, and then when i''ll apply for citizenship, i'll be getting problems or in trouble by not following up on my Endeavor? I am asking this because my consultant has told me that it is not necessary to do what you propose in your Endeavor and you can always do a job at any place after you land and there will be no problem. And now after seeing your video, i am confused, please guide me regarding this.
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise 3 күн бұрын
Hi! I hope you are well. Once your EB-2 NIW is approved, you're not strictly required to follow through with your exact proposed endeavor (e.g., making short films). While the endeavor helps secure the Green Card, there's no specific enforcement mechanism tied to it afterward. You can work in a different field or for an employer. However, it's good to show that you contributed to the national interest when applying for citizenship, so be mindful of that during the naturalization process. Always consult with your immigration attorney first, as they can analyze your case more thoroughly. On the other hand, if you're looking for support in this journey, we can help you out. Make sure to complete the form below! www.visafranchise.com/green-card-for-stem-professionals-application/ Thanks!

Hello Attorney, I have a question regarding the EB2-NIW process. As the principal applicant, I am considering entering the U.S. ahead of my family due to financial constraints, with the plan of having them join me at a later date. My concern is this: I understand that USCIS requires the principal applicant to be present when dependents (spouse and children) enter for the first time. If I arrive first and wait for my family at the airport on the day of their arrival, would that meet the requirement for my presence during their initial entry? I’d appreciate any insights.Thank you!

Is there an expected time-frame by when the initial investment is returned, if done through a regional center? Is there any return on investment during the initial period or later?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise 12 күн бұрын
For the EB-5 visa, when investing through a regional center, the timeframe for the return of the initial investment varies and is not guaranteed. Typically, investors might expect their capital to be returned within 5 to 7 years, but this can depend on the specific project, market conditions, and other factors. It's important to consult with the specific regional center to understand the terms of the investment.

Hi, I am from Bangladesh. I was visit USA with B1/B2 Visa. Now i interested to change my status with E2 status. My question is, How will my dependents come to the USA ? They don't have B2 visa also. Need your valuable feedback.
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise 13 күн бұрын
If you are changing your status to an E-2 visa within the U.S., your dependents (spouse and children under 21) can also qualify for E-2 dependent visas. Since they don’t have B2 visas to enter the U.S. at the moment, they would need to apply for E-2 dependent visas (E-2 derivative status) at the U.S. embassy or consulate in Bangladesh or another country. If you are interested to change your status, I believe we can help you out. Please, complete the following form: www.visafranchise.com/investor-visa-application/ Thanks!

Good advice, thank you. Something I would like add--I completed my first e2 application by myself and even though I had a company in the US and $150k in intangible assets and $120k of inventory under its name, because my $120k of inventory wasn't physically located in the US at the time of my interview, my visa waa denied. I have since resolved the issue and applied again, but I wanted to make others aware. Good luck!

He says come prepared for the interview and know your business. Yet he said he's the one who overlooks the application when it first comes in and pretty much decides yes or no. So in reality it's already pre decided before you go up to the window for your interview. 😮

So for example, if the person obtains an NIW via a software consulting company like you said, but 5 years later when they apply for citizenship they’re working at some other company for another employer, this may affect them getting citizenship? And even after 10 years for a possible green card renewal ?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise 28 күн бұрын
You can always change course when on the green card. However, if your intention was NEVER to engage in the software consulting company and ALWAYS seek employment once you secured the green card that can be a major issue.

Hi, i came in us as a minor in 1991 ay the age of 16...and left the country voluntarily in 1995...now after 30 yrs as a experience businessman i wanted to buy a business e2 visa ...whats are the chances ?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise 27 күн бұрын
Hi, your chances of obtaining an E-2 visa will depend on several key factors. First, you need to be a citizen of a country that has a treaty with the U.S. The investment amount must be substantial, demonstrating your commitment and ensuring the business's viability, which should generate more than enough income for you and your family. Additionally, your net worth and financial history will play a crucial role, as you'll need to provide clear evidence of the source of your investment funds. Given your history and experience as a businessman, it's advisable to consult with an immigration attorney to assess your specific situation and increase your chances of success. If you want to apply, make sure to complete the following form: www.visafranchise.com/client-application/ Thanks!

What is a TN visa?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise Ай бұрын
Hi! A TN visa is a non-immigrant work visa available under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), previously known as NAFTA. It allows qualified Canadian and Mexican citizens to work in the U.S. in specific professional occupations for a U.S. employer. It is often used by professionals in fields such as engineering, accounting, law, teaching, and science.

@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise Ай бұрын
Yes, it's correct that for Bangladeshi citizens, the E-2 visa is generally issued with a validity period of 3 months. This short duration means that you must enter the U.S. within those 3 months.
@Asad-ad-hk1kg
@Asad-ad-hk1kg Ай бұрын
@Visafranchise so, I also heard I can stay for 2 years though. Does that mean that after three months, I can still work in my business instead of on it? As I understand: without e2=work on the business, with e2=permission to work in the business.

Hi! Sure! For example, with the E-2 visa, you need to invest at least $100,000. There are other categories that do not require an investment, such as the O-1 or EB-1A. What about if you just want to temp e.g. an internship? Is that the B-1/B-2?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise Ай бұрын
For a UK citizen looking to do an internship in the U.S., the appropriate visa is usually the J-1 Exchange Visitor visa. The J-1 covers internships, training programs, and cultural exchanges. It's designed for educational and cultural purposes, allowing temporary work or study in the U.S. The B-1/B-2 visas are not suitable for internships. The B-1 visa is for short-term business activities, and the B-2 is for tourism.

Great content! Really helpful. About business plan/ cover letter etc. How big this should be? How many pages? People say at least 15 pages, what if i tell everything in 8 pages?
@Visafranchise
@Visafranchise Ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your comment!! The length of a business plan or cover letter for an EB-2 NIW isn't strictly defined. While some suggest 15 pages, it's more important to be clear and comprehensive. If you can effectively cover all necessary details in 8 pages, that's perfectly fine. Quality and relevance matter more than length. However, always talk with a specialist.
