I can relate to this. Because I have bipolar and my mind DOES trick me thinking things are fine. Nothing is really fine when you have a bipolar disorder. You hurt people who are close to you and you know they're hurting but you don't stop because our mind tricks us. Its all wrong and you start thinking: "I have a bipolar disorder. I'm all wrong now" the truth is: you're not all wrong just because you have a bipolar disorder. Its just you're misunderstood and are different because with bipolar disorder, unpredictable mood swings happen. Happy one minute, angry the next, calm one minute, wanting to hurt someone physically the next. I understand. My dad has bipolar. He's unpredictable when it comes to his bipolar disorder. We all know that we can't write our lives. We know that things keep changing every time we try to write our lives. We rewrite and rewrite but things never turn out the way we want them to. We don't get a happy ending in life because there is no happy ending. That's it. Once you're dead, that's it. Maybe in the after life we'll finally get the happy ending we're all looking for but for now, in life we just gotta keep moving forward because if you look in the past, you'll be stuck there. It's either move on, or be stuck in the past you can never change. Sorry for ranting but just wanted to put that rant there before i forgot it

My bipolar has has never related to any character like I do with Eli. I just rewatched his seasons & when he crashed Morty, it made me realize how manic I was when I tried to kill myself because I didn’t want to lose my best friend. I was so manipulative and a horrible friend just like Eli was. Even though my intentions were always good, they also came off as possessive, obsessive and insane. It’s honestly crazy how well medicine can work for people.
