One bad thing about that design of bivy is you have to have a tarp overhead during rain because rain will pour in the door when it's opened to get in or out, even the big name brands make bivy's in that same design so it's not just them but surely there has to be a better way lol. Thanks for showing!

Live eel, slice it up... one piece can last many catches. stays on the hook and slides right up on the bite, unhook fish re-set eel and cast again

Catfish are generally in muddy water and the water doesn't have to be very deep to harbor catfish. I was wondering about the small ponds where moose eat the underwater grass. Once I lived in Maine for 6 months and wondered why I never saw anyone fishing.

I use elastic string and wrap it around the hook and the liver. You can find it in the sewing section for like 1.98

PORK LIVER ! it's like leather... stays on hook every time... used it ONLY many years ago... was our only bait then.
