I watched several reactions to this performance. Now I watch the reaction of a specialist with frequent stops and it does not irritate. In a word, it is interesting and informative)))

First time watching your reactions. Great job. I loved your detail and perspective. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and I will for sure be back for another one.

You didn’t mention Brev’s high notes at the end! Really cool him hitting both high and low in the last shot.

High notes at the end went up to B5 lol (big brev himself has confirmed his range on this was B0-E5)

I think it’s really pretty too. Love Bastien (pronounced Bass-teen). He does riffs similar to Austin. Loved Adam Rupp doing the hand claps. I think it’s filmed in Utah. So beautiful! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Adam Bastien ( bass like the fish - teen) is a great addition to group.😊 I would recommend from their new Christmas album Let Me Come Home ( original written by Bastien bring tissues) The Thanksgiving Song The Greatest Gifts Of All ( original by Tim releasing tomorrow

Great analysis. Very informative. I like it when they take a classic song and put their own twist to it.

Disclaimer: For whatever reason, my speaking audio turned out poorly, and the piano audio is barely audible. I will troubleshoot and fix this for future videos, but I did not feel like rerecording my reaction for this one. Thanks for your patience :) Also, go subscribe to The Bass Gang, they're a bunch of musical prodigies

They filmed a green screen inside the picture frame, then added Marwan later. Marwan couldn't get a visa (they tried to for Arabian Nights) so he's stuck in Egypt. So they re-did the story line, making Marwan stuck in the lamp. I don't think they hit on that aspect in Gaston, though.

I love Cesar. I think his talent is a bit underrated and he should have more opportunities for standout parts that showcase those ranges. Voiceplay is my favorite a cappella group and I admire the talents of ALL the members. They are all phenomenal and I'm so glad to have found them. They bring me joy. ❤❤

Your part in this is very muted. You probably explained it early on but I didn’t understand you until I turned on CC. (I also have tinnitus so that could have been part of it). Anyway, otherwise I really enjoyed this analysis/reaction I get what you said about how this hooked you in. Maybe it’s the song and the Viking theme, but there’s an edge here that really grabs me. Fantastic arrangement, fantastic video, fantastic music and OMG Ekaterina (the way she goes from seeming sweet and innocent to giving you a glare like she wants to drink your blood, and the way her timbre switches off from that high, ethereal sound to that badass warrior maiden)! This is absolutely TBG next level. They’ve been topping themselves with every release so I’m really excited about 2024.

what makes Geoff so unique is not that he can sing those super low notes (below C2) in chest voice, but that he can do them in RELAXED chest voice. THAT is insane, and a testament to his dedication to his craft. Also, Misty Mountains passed the 20M views mark (16 Tons is at 17M), so yes, Misty Mountains has become his most popular.
@zarasha822010 ай бұрын
he just makes EVERYTHING he does that's obscenely, ribcage rattling low look so damn effortless... of course we know he's spent decades honing his craft and constantly challenging himself, and he works very hard, but yeah.... for someone like him with natural talent and the right physiology, and the dedication to spend every day focusing on his art, it is remarkably effortless. The man is a very rare talent.

Beauty of the song diminished by the overly incessant pauses, instead of listening to larger chunks of the song before critiquing. Self-proclaimed music know-it-alls are so annoying.

After listening to Hellfire so often, I think Geoff's part is the person that he presents and feels he is. J None is the part that is praying to Maria to protect him from succumbing to Esmerelda, Eli's part is black or white - either come be with me or destroy her, Cesar's blaming God. In VP's The Lion Sleeps Tonight, both J None and Cesar hit some high notes, Cesar's are new to him- C6 and D6.

For me, it's so far the most beautiful thing Geoff done. It grews on me even more for each listening. Misty Mountain achieved 20 million views at the same time this was premiering. It was commented on in the stream then.

Happy to see you react to the first release from ProjectAcapellion. They all smashed out of the park. So talented. Video was edited by Ryan Tang, the bassinger you see together with Casper and Jennifer in the earlier video Toxic. Ryan has edited several videos for Cadper and Bass Gang lately, notably the BG rendition of We Don't Talk About Bruno.
