My first race ever was here and I was 2.5 years old racing in the pw 50 class

i had a CZ 400 in 1980/81, it was a pig, wish i still had it though, went to a 1981 Suzuki rm125x which was a dream ride in comparison, quicker too.

Had a cz250, I miss that sound! That bike was indestructible. Well it did require a plastic coffin tank. lol Despite many crashes in So Cal desert, lake elsinore, riding around oil rigs next to pch... it would survive and keep running. Not sure how I did though looking back.

back in the day I raced a 125CZ then a 250 cc red frame CZ both were new ones a 1973 and 1974 models I worked at the shop that sold them my folks helped me buy them and took me to the races on the weekend it was fun , that 250 was pretty fast for the time unfortunately I never was quite good enough to win a trophy but all we did was ride and race , we made our own motocross practice track in the fields where i grew up , we had allot of fun back in those days with the dirt bikes .

Back in the 70s I raced a 250 red frame that I bought brand new I also raced a 125 cz but it was a dog but that red frame was fun thanks for the memories
