Thinking of bringing my family up from Florida.

These guys have no clue what they are doing. I made snow for 20 year in the Southeast at the largest resorts. These guys will run this place in the ground again, with the increased expenses and few returns on the investment. They have no clue.

I grew up skiing those slopes when I was a kid through my teen years. Some of my best memories were made right there on the mountain. Every weekend in the winter I was on those slopes. My dad worked the chair lift and my first job was in the gift shop. I love that you are keeping with the lodges original look. My favorite is seeing the fireplace. So many memories of my teen years sitting at that fireplace hanging out with friends and making new friends. I wish you great success.

Your facility would make a great concert venue location to fill in Spring, summer and fall. Smaller outdoor concerts bring huge crowds and are relatively easy to control. We have several locations in the Pennsylvania Poconos that host great smaller concerts venues with sell out crowds. Look up “Poconos Adventures”, Blue Mountain Resort and Penns Peak to see the type of activities they have going on ALL year long. Even check out Spring Mountain Ski Area and Adventures which is a very small ski area located about 40 miles from Philadelphia. They have expanded to year round activity center over the last several years to offer year round events and activities for young and old. I worked occasionally there in the 70’s and 80’s on the ski patrol and did some work helping out on maintenance crew since I am an licensed commercial industrial electrician. I used to ski this mountain my freshman year at ETSU on Thursday nights. It was college night and was something like $10 to ski. I would load up my car with 3 friends every Thursday during the season and head down. Great times. This place always had a lot of potential.

I skied Wolf Ridge a few years ago, and love it. Reminded me of the local ski areas where I grew up in the Finger Lakes are of New York state. Looking forward to this new era!!!

I hope you add mountain biking trails so there is something to do there most of the year when its too warm for snow.

I came up there in like 2007 maybe,I dated a lady who's uncle worked as a maintenance man,older guy name Larry,true mountain man lol,I enjoyed it so much,most beautiful high point he took me to,we watched a hawk fly back and forth,was awesome!!

How about some mountain trail races like they do in New England? Maybe host a regional or national mountain championship (like Loon Mountain in NH)? Cranmore Mountain, Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods, Waterville Valley, Sunapee, Attitash, Wildcat, Black Mountain, Cochran, Ascutney all have mountain races and have a mountain race circuit. They need that down here. Hopefully you guys could get that started and replicated 🤞.

My 1st and as yet only time snow skiing. Keep wanting to go back, sad that it will have to be put off again. Was Wolf Laurel still when I came there to learn under David Plough, my friend from Mars Hill College (now Univ.)

Like this sport isnt expensive enough you need to make everything thing a luxury amenitie in north fucking Carolina of all places which is in no way a destination ski or snowboard place. This grim news was looming on the horizon for a long time, as each update only served to inform us of yet another delay. And yet you still sent out emails to solicit buyers for season tickets. And you said nothing here to help or reassure any customers who bought them. I'm glad I didn' t take the bait.

I rode wolf ridge for the first time last winter. I felt the mountain had a TON of potential. I’m really excited about the work you guys are putting in. All my friends who ask about NC skiing I keep telling them to keep an eye on your socials for an opening date.

No need to rush. A delayed project can eventually be good. A rushed project can be bad forever.
