3.6 piece of shit just had my lifters and camshaft replaced at only 58,000 miles engine was ticking was under warranty so zero cost for me but to have engine failure at this low mileage means it’s a piece of shit motor.

It’s made in America that’s why quality is bad unlike Germany,Europe,Asia and the Middle East they all come from Germany yep all materials and some places like the Middle East don’t even build it they just ship it from Germany that’s why the Middle East is full of Mercedes cars old or new

I bought one when it was brand new. Took delivery in 11/02. Everything worked perfectly for the ten years I had it. This one is obviously a beater and been ragged out. Plus the fact it is now 21 ish years old Lolol. Clickbait

Hi! why is this spacer good?
@riciardoverbeek10 күн бұрын
ive kind of simular thing. around 50mph the car shakes/vibrates really bad. i cant see anything on my bushings and brakes that doesnt look good. Im very afraid its from the torque converter or something like that.. Do you have any idea i missed to check ? its vibrating in my seat and floor. even noticable in my steering wheel. I have to say sometimes when i hit the brakes te steering wheels shakes. Can a failing caliper maybe causes al this ?

I know this is 3 years late but I am having a problem there is a second temperature sensor behind that one and I don’t know how to get it off it’s connected to a metal piece that’s bolted in I don’t know if I have to just brute force it off or unbolt it

Isn’t the water pump only mounted inside the timing cover on front wheel drive models? On rear wheel drive the water pump is still outside as normal?
@isaachousley3252 күн бұрын
Yep. And its quite literally the only issue with the duratec engines, otherwise they will last a long time (easily past 300k) with regular maintenance Ive also heard claims of the transverse, internal pump, engines going well past 200k on the original pump with regular oil changes and shorter (50k or less) coolant change intervals.

Nope was an hour labor and at that time we were at 102-115 an hour plus part from orileys with a 60 percent mark up and an hour diag. Think the customer left with a bill under 400 bucks.

Dealer wanted $900 to fix this by breaking the the grill to get to those bolts. $40 for the cable. Cost of dealership included the new grill cost. Thanks for the awesome video

Thank you for this! I was able to change mine thanks to this video and others. I paid $12.99 for the sensor itself and would have paid a garage over $400. On a side note, I called around and Auto Zone and Advanced Auto parts had the sensor for around $70-$100. A&A Auto had it for $12.99. I’m so grateful for videos like these.
