I want to add a backup light to my 23 Polaris Ranger 570SP but everywhere I have read and the dealer says they have done away with the pigtail for the backup light or beeper on the 23 model. Bummer because I really want one that comes on automatically like yours does. Thank you for the great videol

Bitchen! Sounds great. Wish I'd known about rephrasing back when I was racing mine in the mid-seventies. Phil Irving (Vincent designer) was the first to suggest rephrasing as a cure for crank issues and vibrations on British parallel twins. But it took some time for the idea to catch hold. A Triumph 500 owner in the U;K. was, I believe, one of the first to try this, and his bike got a nice writeup in 'Classic Bike'. Shame that it took so long for the Yamaha guys to figure it out, because the splined crank makes it a very simple upgrade compared to the old Brit bikes.

Going to build something real close to this. Bigger bore longer stroke. Looking at 830 cc , Rephrase 277 by "Hues Handbuild" Three actually. Street tracker/ always wanted to ride to the track, and race. My son is building a half-faring, (piranha) 'Cafe' " racer. My daughter wants a "Scrambler " she's short, Want to put her, lower to the ground. But part of the pack. And bumble bee yellow racing livery!!! 👍

Is that a FEMALE threaded cap? Where did you get it? I have an aluminum tank on my M87 Pursang with the leaky flip up monza cap. I need a female thread cap to go on in place of that lousy cap. Anybody, please help.

Fiiiuuuu..!!! Oir un motor Pursang bien carburado es un placer. Cortar gas y que no hayan explosiones... He leido que se buscan Astro. Aqui es España de Europa puedes conseguir un motor 370 de Frontera o Pursang conbrelativa facilidad. Otra cosa ya es elnprecio. Tengo un amigo que participa en compericiones "urbanas" de clásicas 2T de 250cc con BULTACO 👍🤩🤩

Not trying to start a comment war, but in your mind, what was your reasoning for the rephase? I've heard people say it hooks up better. I've also heard from more than one of the crazy Australian sidecar MX guys with 1000cc+ XS twins that the reason they rephased them was to stop the lethal vibrations that were causing the cases to fracture.

Less case cracking was certainly a nice side-benefit, but the traction benefits were real, made them hook up like Harleys.

these handlebars are #10 flat track bend with about 1" cut off of both ends. I prefer a taller/narrower bar. There's a few different companies that make them, just look for #10 bend!

vape ignition! only way to go. stock ignition had weak and intermittent spark.

Would love to buy a Astro but with shipping then duty from the states its too expensive. So bought a few mark 6 Pursang project's years ago but missing parts to build a Astro.
