One sided argument - against Israel. Don’t forget Israel has nukes as well as the know how to produce their own spare parts. Israel has a lot to offer to US. For example Israel engineers and tech guys helped with development and enhancement of F-16. I am sure Israel can use their nukes as a deterrent if they have to.
