My concern with working for MSC is I have an accountant do my taxes and I need off for my taxes to be done. I see that being stuck on a ship during tax season will lead to problems with the IRS getting my taxes on time.

Similar to navy ship life?
@Dani_TheUnicornАй бұрын
I wouldn’t know for sure. I’ve never been in the navy. But I’ve heard stories with similarities. I think one of the major difference is the size of the crew. We only have about 25 people on the ship.

Never feel bad about holding an idiot responsible for his or her actions. You did the right thing. You stood up for yourself. I doubt very seriously the chief engineer would have used a derogatory term if his pedicure buddy was Jewish or any other race besides black for that matter. The “N” word is a horrible word and should never be used by anyone. Don’t let these fools keep you from a wonderful and rewarding career that can set you up for the rest of your life. Stay sturdy queen!

Great video. Retired Captain. I love your description of the male/female relationship onboard. Your description was perfect. Also about being a Q onboard and a "girl" ashore (Nails). An Engineer and a Woman. Go get that License. I never cared about anything with the crew, white, black, male, female or anything else as long as your goal was the same as mine. Be on time, be sober (Do what you want ashore), be safe, respect your fellow crew, and go home with all your fingers and toes, and everything else. It is an awesome career path. I will be watching more of your videos
