Elton John has been my absolute favorite since I was a kid in the 70s. If you go down the rabbit hole you will discover a treasure trove of more amazing songs to listen to. Don’t hesitate even if you don’t make a video of it.

Rock & Roll. Queen! They were the best, and brilliant. The guitar player Brian May, has a PhD in Astrophysics. The singer is the amazing Freddy Mercury, who sadly passed from HIV 1991. Such a voice. Started listening to them in 1972.

I'm 33. My dad played queen alot and other 70s/80s music. I always loved bohemian rhapsody. I'm happy to see u enjoyed what music I did as a kid who was raised by 80s kids/parents. The most incredible part is they made that song without a ton of the equipment voice stuff today. They recorded over n over again their own music to get the musical affects. They were ahead of their time in music. ❤

Nice try but your friends are not music explorers and certainly not ready for the masterpiece Bohemian Rhapsody or any Queen. Try sharing with a musician friend.

Dude, I just came across your reaction to Master of Puppets thanks to the “Great Holy Algorithm” Then I went to your channel and watched your reaction to One. Tears, bro. Then I saw that you reacted to this, my favourite Metallica song. This song is in my heart. The 1999 live version with the San Francisco Symphony is baller. You’ve earned a new subscriber.

Good catch with the 'breakfast on a mirror' line. The "master" is the drug you're addicted to. When you listen to it knowing that, it's even better..

This song is why Metallica was/is the greatest metal band of all time. I know everyone has different tastes and opinions, but when I first heard this I was instantly a fan of Metallica and of metal. I wasn't into rock or metal before this album. But every element of this track is just insane. Their musicality is special..

You *almost* had it. You felt it, but didn't quite make the connection. This song is about addiction. Addiction to anything. Drugs, alcohol, sex, you name it. The whole things is an allegory about addiction. Furthermore, the story is told from the point of the addiction. It's broken into 3 parts. The first part represents the frenetic search for a fix. The second part, which you felt and even described as calming, represents scoring the fix. You're floating, and feeling great. Then, as you said, you feel the darkness coming again, you're starting to come down. The 3rd and final part, if you'll notice, is the same as the first part. The riffs are the same, the feeling and time are the same. That's because it represents being on the search again for another fix, and the cycle of addiction. It's fucking brilliant. I miss old Metallica....

YOU get it. Dreams of childhood, mixed with the band crew trying to get a revered member on stage...heavy stuff. One of THE best and most heartfelt guitar solos ever played in this song.

I watch a lot of reaction videos and this was the must honest one I have ever seen. Made this stoned 71 yo grandma smile huge. It was good to see someone really feeling the music. I still do it when no one is around, put on the headphones, fire up a blunt and float away or chair dance, depending and the mood. You have a new fan!

Metallica had many songs that were describing drugs and ptsd but the music is meant as the overcoming of those such as master of puppets was written to describe a drug addict overcoming their addiction, I see one as a similar thing veterans that it was a way to tell veterans that they are never alone and that there are many other veterans who suffer from the same situation that you are dealing with

If only ever American had your compassion and understanding of the situation vets face when they return wounded or not. Clearly it’s worse it they are wounded when they return however many vets return with ptsd on top of their physical wounds

I was 13 when this album dropped in “88… I had already been a Metallica fan for a few years and I had been jamming out to this album for a few months before I saw the video. Now on the album cut none of the movie samples are in the song. It’s just the music… but even without the samples the song portrays just through sound, an ominous, gut wrenching feeling…. Yet is simultaneously beautiful somehow. As a young man, coming of age, I had a lot of anger issues and hostility towards the world. This song taps that energy with a surgical level of precision that is unbelievably profound. Quite literally a pressure release valve and because of that, for people like me… it is incredibly joyful to listen to.

Great song, great reaction man. I listened to this song a thousand times growing up. Pretty sure I didn’t actually hear it until one night when I found myself turning 45. The young rarely if ever listen to the old when they tell them to enjoy every second. And of course you don’t do drugs to enjoy Pink Floyd, you listen to Pink Floyd to enhance drugs.
