The audience members were all Zappa heads, and they were all morons. They couldn't even ask intelligent questions or comment intelligently.

Zappa always called himself a conservative. You couldn't prove it by any important sociopolitical postion he ever took.He was just as much of a pot-stirring dick as the rest of the leftists are.

I was a senior in high-school when this commercial aired. It was the first time I had ever heard the word "Unix". Little did I know that it would define my future career. I've worked with just about all of the major flavors over the years. I am now a Senior Linux Engineer. Unix has ben good to me.

Shortly after this airing, Frank Zappa recorded, "He's So Gayyyyy," on his Thing Fish album. Boy, that sugar-coated guy's all in that song.

Believe it or not I’ve always been a fan of Frank Zappa, but not his music, I don’t care for his music, with one or two exceptions. But I’ve always thought him a great thinker who can articulate some very good ideas. And that’s what I’m a fan of. I’ve seen almost all of his interviews I imagine but I own non of his music. But by the same token I can listen to him for hours.

The scene cracks me up every time. The music when their done eating. How small and scrawny Mark looks in the huge chair. Brian Backer played that part perfectly

Watched this movie for like the 100th time last Friday. Finally focused on the tv and realized it’s an episode of Leave it to Beaver that Damone is watching. Today(5 days later) I’m channel surfing and Leave it to Beaver is on. It’s that same episode called In the Soup. Definitely a weird coincidence. 😂
