Nice to hear theory explained right. Andy told me once, you want the Nose to grab, cans the tail to slide. In the turn.

How are you timing the gate to load to know and where I’m at on the point of timing to hit the gate?

Gidday Adam from New Zealand. Thanks for a great gate video .Ive watched it a number of times hoping that it will sink in.When you are about to turn in for the gates have you looked at the gate before you turn in or is it just a timing thing so when you start to turn you are automatically in the right place? Cheers Andrew

Hey there - read all your stuff on GUT and am trying to better myself in the course. I'm having trouble understanding how to level the ski past CL but pull with the upper body against the boat. Looking over my video from today (22' off at 32 and 34), I need to stand up straighter through the wake. Maybe I'm transitioning my ski too soon (around CL) vs after the 2nd wake? Either way, I don't feel like I'm getting the 'flat ski, pull/lean with the body". Tips? kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHa1kICceZ2obKc

Would you recommend people still skiing long line try this at 41 off? I'm skiing 22 off in the course... Looking to progress!

No comments?? Lol, that ski just looks different in the water than any ski I've seen! Amazing two-hand 6 ball at 10.75 m....

outstanding simplified break down man.leading the ski resonates with me.can you explain balancing on the balls of your feet please.thank you

Scotts Marine this starts with bindings. Many off the shelf boots make it difficult to pressure the balls of your feet. Stand on the dock with your boots on and drive your knees forward. If you feel pressure in your shins and not the balls of your feet, you need to reassess your boots. Once you get that part right you can start to work on technique on the water.

@@adamcord1 agreed 100% my old animals dont do that but my later model boots do i quit using them because of that.love my old animals they are almost like skiing with a rear toe plate.
