Alan, this truly is beautiful. It is soft and relaxing, and speaks even without lyrics, of the touching meaning of this awesome song. I absolutely loved this and enjoyed it to the full. It sounded like a gentle echo as you played, more in the background, not enough to spoil the music, but enough to enhance it. You played to perfection. I made a cover of this as a dedication to my husband a while ago, still on my channel, so hearing you today brought back a special memory. THANK YOU ❤

@@ianwilsonguitarist3079 Hi Ian, I thought this one would make you smile, it took me ages to do yesterday because I’d completely forgotten how to produce it, hopefully the next one maybe a bit easier, anyway thank you very much for your lovely kind words it’s very much appreciated my friend… I hope I can get another one out fairly soon….I’m loving the Burns by the way , just about got it how I want it now it plays beautifully, thank you…I don’t know which one to play now, I’ve got two lovely telecasters but for some reason I rarely pick them up, just like the trems on the others I think …. Hello Alan! When I saw the title on your video, I thought "why do I know this?" Then when I played it, I realised that I have always loved it very much, because I have always loved and admired The Shadows, and we have seen them in concert - they were magnificent. And YOU Alan, are pretty magnificent yourself, because honestly, this cover was spot on. You got the whole meaning of the song flowing from your fingers right across the strings of your guitar. Very interesting notes my friend, and you mentioned this is the B side to Footapper - love that too, in fact all the work of Bruce and the gang. Absolutely delightful and full enjoyment - standing ovation

@@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano1394 Hi Diane,I too have been a lifelong Shadows fan, but unfortunately I never got to see them, they’ve been such an inspiration for so many people, I can remember being in a local band in my teenage years trying to get that unmistakable Shadows sound, unfortunately the band didn’t last very long, then I got married and I never picked up a guitar again until I was approaching 70, a big regret of mine….. I very much enjoy it now, but I’ve not posted much this last year due to my wife not being to well….. anyway I thank you so much for your very flattering comments and I’m very pleased you enjoyed it…….
