Kydex over time always tends to scuffs the knife, mostly at the retention spot on the handle or guard and sometimes also on the blade when the sheath is tight; not a point I would complain too much about like you already concluded. Gets even worse when dirt or sand enters. That’s why, like you, I prefer leather sheaths on knives, especially on such beautiful ones like the DBK Bushcrafter/hunter. I have a numbered one from the first batch, very pleased with it. Good reviews, curious about your experience when using it.
