Reign was dog attacked and flipped off her wheelchair. She re-injured her spine and is now presenting as paraplegic.

Reign is a fabulous singer and she really enjoys using her voice. I'm good too. I know. I'm aware of my God-given gift.

Thank you. Yes, it is a massive concern as she really cannot survive any further trauma to her spine. Right now, it's just one day at a time. Thank you for your kind words. To be honest, I really feel like I'm failing her right now.

That is a distinct possibility but, fortunately, you can't prove your theory. Therefore, I still maintain that Reign is blissfully singing.

Reign's doctors have wanted me to keep walking her with the sling, but she is so heavy that I simply cannot do it anymore. Since being attacked, she can't support her own weight at all. It's physically impossible for me to lift her with the sling now.

@@reignthegermanshepherd10 but you have a wheelchair for her right? i donated but if you need something just ask. There is no more people on the neighour to help you a bit? Don't give up, this is just a setback! your best friend really wants to be by your side for much longer.

@@SargentoDuke Yes, she has a wheelchair thank goodness! This video here is from June when Reign saw a Specialist Neurologist. As you can see, she could still walk a little bit then. She can't right now. I will put up a new video of her on this grass today so you can see the difference. I intend to keep going as long as I can with the wheelchair, but I can't lift her anymore without further damaging my own spine. i also have a degenerative spinal condition. Reign and I both have a very similar condition, if you can believe it. But, no, I won't give up on her. I will keep trying. Thank you for being here. I'm astounded by your generosity and concern for Reign.

Mine too. That's so true. But she can also raise mine through the roof when she's awake and creating havoc. Reign likes to be 'singing' ALL the time. Sigh...

Thank you. I've tried to make her space as nice and comfortable as possible. I've laid yoga mats down on the floor and bought her an extremely comfortable single size memory foam mattress. It's so comfortable that I can lie down and sleep with her so she isn't sad or lonely. I try to make the best of a sad situation.

She really is. Toya was supposed to be my elderly mother's dog, but my mother could not look after her. So she came to stay with me and she never left. It is a lot of work keeping up with them all, especially with Reign now being disabled and needing SO much constant attention. That said, I will persevere and Toya is a permanent part of the family. I love her to bits!

Thank you for this insightful comment. I hadn't really thought about things in that way. And it is true that I have been making things look easy when they are not. I've had to sacrifice a lot to be able to take care of Reign. I've spent most of my life savings on astronomical vet bills and expensive medications. I've even had to drop out of college in order to care for her. But, I hadn't really thought of using the channel to generate financial help. I just thought I would make a library of memories of Reign that I could look back on. Again, thank you for this comment. I will put some thought into what you've said. I just want to always remember Reign in a happy way, but I do know that she deserves support that she has never really received😞

Please don't give up on Reign. Surely the funds can be raised for her surgery with all of us supporting. Just made a small donation. Wishing you and Reign many happy and healthy years together. Reign reminds me of my sweet GSD girl.❤❤❤

Hi John, I just so sorry to hear that you have recently lost Barron. It sounds as though you gave him your all right up until the end. That is a beautiful gift. I know there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel any better. I lost my 13-year-old dog, Bella, last June and it has taken me over a year just to be able to look at her photos. I miss her every single day and I always will. Grief takes time. But, I suppose, none of us get out of here alive and I truly believe we will see them again when the time is right.
